The IED Diagnostics Training is specialized First Responder equipment and training, which provides Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operators engaged in combat missions involving Improvised Explosives Devices (IEDs) increased individual technical proficiency in EOD electronics with emphasis on current enemy IED circuits.

The course is designed from an EOD Operator perspective and include the Fundamental electronic principles relevant to IED circuit, trigger and fuse construction.

Understanding of basic through complex IED circuitry and guided instruction through the construction process of each device

Circuits construction using techniques typically seen in terrorist devices and based on real world threats, including Victim-Operated, Command, RCIED, and Time

All circuits, components, and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) devices

Fundamental electronic principles relevant to IED circuit/trigger/fuse construction.

Electric and electronic components and their function in relation to IEDs found in current theaters of war.

Analysis and discussion of common linear and nonlinear electronics components

Understanding of basic through complex IED circuitry and guided instruction through the construction process of each.
