CEIA’s walkthrough metal detectors are designed to meet a wide range of security needs in public settings. Key models include the SMD®601 Plus, which blends advanced technology with ease of use, and the HI-PE Plus, PMD2 Plus, and its Elliptic variant, all known for superior detection sensitivity and reliability. The SMD600 Plus and Classic models complete CEIA’s innovative lineup, reflecting their dedication to excellence in metal detection technology.
The most advanced Security Standards require detection of all ferrous and non-ferrous metal weapons and of those constructed in special non-magnetic alloys.
The PMD2 Plus Elliptic® is also recommended for portable use in temporary or itinerant installations. The technology employed allows high discrimination to be achieved even at stringent security levels.
The SMD®600 Plus is a very high sensitivity Metal Detector that also offers characteristics of high discrimination and high detection uniformity.
Combined Ferromagnetic and active Metal Detector
The SMD®600 Plus – MI2™ is optimized for the screening of people in applications where simultaneous detection of all metal (magnetic and non-magnetic) firearms and cellphone / smartphone devices, including the most miniaturized, low metal content versions.

The SMD®601 Plus is a very high sensitive Walk-Through Metal Detector. A full-height light bar displays the location of the detected metal masses in transit. This results in rapid identification of threats and a reduction or elimination of the need for manual searches. Detects even the smallest metal items anywhere on or in the body.
The SMD®601 Plus Loss Prevention Metal Detector prevents the theft or accidental removal of metallic objects. As people transit the system, their metal content is compared to a saved personal profile.
