Mount the fan filter just behind the plastic fan guard at the rear of the Itemiser 2 to filter the cooling air that enters the instrument. Access it from the back panel of the instrument by unscrewing four Philips head screws on the fan guard. The frequency with which the filter needs changing depends on the operating conditions; visible dust on the filter indicates it should be changed immediately. To replace the entire fan guard assembly please reference FG4403.
