    MKDS announces an exclusive representation agreement with Red Lotus Technologies (RLT) for the Canadian territory to market, sell and provide post-sales support for the Visualization and Signature Technology (VaST) training system for handheld IED, UXO, & Mine detectors.

    Red Lotus Technologies (RLT) designs and manufactures technology products to help with explosive hazard detection and training.     We are pleased with the Excellent feedback for The Counter-Suicide Bomber Operations and Planning course that was held in Ottawa on November 13-14, at the CPC. The training was attended by a range of Military and Senior Law Enforcement experts from Canada, Sweden and Denmark. We would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions to that training which introduced delegates to a number of real-world scenarios in the form of multi-media case studies, table-top exercises and highly interactive instructions in tactics, techniques and procedures necessary to assist operators/planners in the defeat of suicide bombers in both permissive and hostile environments.     MKDS events division is pleased with the great success to its inaugural METSEC 2015 event in Montreal on May 4 - 7, 2015 that was chaired by MKDS Chief Security Officer Mr. George KFOURY. The event was attended by over 85 delegates from a range of local, national and international government organizations and industry leaders including, the United States, Norway, France, Belgium, Australia and others. the event was also supported by Defence Research and Development Canada, Center for Security Studies - DRDC CSS, with 4 high level speakers led by the Director General Dr. Mark Williamson. The event also featured a presentations by Inspector Kenneth FAULKNER, Officer in Charge of the RCMPs CBRNE operations discussing The National CBRNE Response Team, Whole of Government approach to CBRNE Response, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Canadian Armed Forces, and many others.
    Live Demonstrations were held in Cooperation with the Montreal Police (Le Groupe tactique intervention - GTI) and the Quebec Provincial Police EOD Unit (Sûreté du Quebec) at their testing facility that included the Lance Disruptor from CTS, Proparms, and robotic platforms from iRobot, QinetiQ North America and ICOR Canada among other industry leaders.
