high risk search & Counter-IED

The High Risk Search and Counter-IED course will train personnel on how to plan and manage a high risk search event, and the TTPs in a CIED environment. The training will focus on the IED components, Threat Assessment and the planning aspect of high level search planning and execution. It will include table top exercises, syndicate planning and hands on field training using functional Inert devices and role players.

MKDS Training instructors are Subject Matter Experts with world knowledge operational experience in High Risk Search Operations Route Clearance and IEDD.

  • Instructional Methods

    Training will be conducted through lectures in a classroom environment, Case studies, table-top exercises and one day field training utilizing functional inert training devices, and conducting search exercises.

The training will be conducted in two stages; classroom setting to include case studies, table-top exercises, and field training using Functional Inert Training Aids and IED components reflecting the latest trends and enemy TTPs, as well as devices like the ones used in recent incidents in the UK, EU and North America.
