MKDS Training & Threat Mitigation offers a wide range of C-IED training courses that includes, improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD), Weapons Intelligence Team (WIT) Training, Ammunition and Explosives Incident Investigation, Assault IED defeat operations & planning.

To prepare personnel to advise on the entire range of planning considerations for all types of CBRN and complex IED incidents and defeat operations.

To introduce IED operators and commanders to a range of overt and covert techniques used in the rapid assessment and neutralization of hostage and access denial devices, during hostage rescue and counter-suicide bomber operations.

To provide C-IED operators and commanders with the practical skills required to accurately gather evidence and intelligence at the scene of an IED incident as well as its subsequent collation, assessment and dissemination for use in wider anti-terrorism operations.

To prepare personnel in the theory of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) materials, introduce them to CBRN equipment and practice them in the render safe procedure options in dealing with a simple devices.
