IED Casualties in Afghanistan on the rise, roadside bombs cause 70 to 80 percent of casualties to coalition forces, and are more lethal than previous years, reflecting insurgents' use of more powerful explosives and the increased vulnerability of troops who patrol more on foot than in the past. This years' event will focus on Route Clearance Operations, Force protection, Forensic exploitation and Biometrics. It will gather some of the leading solution providers and Military organizations from the NATO, US, EU and other allied nations.
